Guye Peak Scramble

Up the southeast face down the north trail. Lots and lots of steep bushwhacking to a dirty, not particularly aesthetic scramble. Spoiled by Colorado scrambling. Nice wild afternoon though. At the top of Guye South a falcon started screaming at me and then dive bombed straight at me at terminal velocity which was scary but cool. Then I came inches away from using a lil snakey guys head as a handhold. He didn’t move just kept his head out smelling me. Meant to tack on Cave Ridge but missed the turnoff.
